Our annual meeting 2023 is organized by the SMASH team at Otto-von-Guericke-Universität in Magdeburg. Here are our current plans for the meeting:

Travel Expenses and Hotels
The coordination project can cover travel expenses with the usual limitations (80€/night, 100€/car, for details -> SPP Wiki) for all PIs, one research fellow per PI per project, and for students funded out of the SPP’s equality fund. Extraordinarily promising young researchers and students involved in the project presentation may be funded upon application.
For a list of hotel contingents reserved for the SPP, please see the email we sent to the SPP mailing list on June 27.
Before booking a room from the hotel contingents, please check if your university has special arrangements with hotels in Magdeburg. You may also find better deals on online booking sites!

Presentation time per project will be 10 minutes plus 5 minutes for Q&A for projects with a single PI and 15 minutes plus 5 minutes Q&A for all bigger projects. All presentations shall be given in English.
