Travel and Expenses
The coordination project can cover the travel expenses (with the usual limitations -> SPP Wiki) for all PIs, one research fellow per PI per project, and for students funded out of the SPP’s equality fund. Additional researchers and students involved in the project presentation may be funded upon application.
When traveling by car the Sporthotel Fuchsbachtal is easy to reach via the A2 motorway. Coming from the west take the exit Bad Nenndorf/Barsinghausen, if you come from an eastern direction take the exit Wunstorf-Kolenfeld/Barsinghausen. Follow the signs to the town of Barsinghausen. In Barsinghausen take the L 392 that leads to the Rehrbrinkstraße at the town’s centre. Unfortunately there are construction and a road closure during our conference that make it necessary to use an alternative route in the town. Please follow the descritption provided by the hotel.
If you travel by train via Hannover take the S2 train towards Haste and get off at ‘Barsinghausen’ or the express line S21 from Hannover Central Station to Barsinghausen. From Barsinghausen train station it’s a 20 min walk to the hotel.
